We provide a privacy-preserving search engine that connects users with content across our network and the broader internet. Our goal is to offer a search experience with minimal tracking, limited data collection, and no personal data profiling.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1 Non-Personal and Technical Data

When you interact with our Services, we automatically collect certain technical information to facilitate and secure your access. This may include:

  1. Internet Protocol (IP) Address: Your device’s IP address is briefly processed to deliver search results and protect our systems from malicious activity. We do not permanently store IP addresses in a manner tied to your searches.
  2. Device and Browser Information: Such as browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and language preference to optimize content display and enhance compatibility.
  3. Log Data: Limited server logs for technical maintenance and security purposes, which may include timestamps and error messages. However, these logs generally do not contain personally identifying information.

3.2 Search Queries and Usage

We may collect and store aggregated data related to search queries. This includes keywords or phrases entered, but we do not create unique customer profiles. The data is used for improving search results, analyzing usage trends, maintaining service stability, and providing features to our users.

3.3 Optional Features

If we introduce optional features (e.g., user account systems, browser extensions, or additional services), we will collect only the minimum personal information needed to enable these features (e.g., email address for account creation). We will provide clear explanations at the point of collection regarding how that data is used, stored, and your options.

Any Tools developed, along with necessary information for their operation, may be made available to creators and users for integration, embedding, and use on their respective websites, platforms, or digital properties, subject to applicable terms of use provided by the Company.

3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage mechanisms to:

  1. Save your display or search preferences (e.g., interface settings).
  2. Conduct anonymous A/B testing to improve our user experience.
  3. Prevent repeated prompts or pop-ups.

We do not use cookies to create personal buyer profiles. You can disable or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, though doing so may impact certain functionalities.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  2. Improve and Develop Features: Analyze aggregated search data and usage trends to refine our algorithms, user interface, and service offerings.
  3. Enhance Security: Detect and mitigate security threats or unauthorized activities (e.g., DDOS attacks, bot traffic).

5. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose or share information in the following circumstances:

  1. Service Providers: We may share anonymized or de-identified information with trusted third-party service providers who perform essential operations on our behalf (e.g., hosting, content delivery networks). These providers are contractually restricted from using data for any purposes other than those explicitly requested by us.
  2. Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights, safety, or property.
  3. Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or asset sale involving FandeyTech or FlareNetwork, user information—if any—is transferred subject to safeguards consistent with this Policy.
  4. With Your Consent: We may disclose information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, if you explicitly consent.

6. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

We are committed to safeguarding the information under our control through reasonable technical, administrative, and physical measures:

  1. Encryption: We use end-to-end encryption where feasible to protect data transmissions between your device and our servers.
  2. Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to any system logs or aggregated data, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  3. Minimal Retention: We retain aggregated or anonymized search logs only as long as needed for analysis, service improvement, or compliance with legal requirements. Where possible, personal identifiers are removed immediately or are never logged at all.

7. LEGAL REQUESTS AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Because we do not store unique personal identifiers tied to search queries, we typically cannot produce identifiable data in response to legal requests. Nonetheless, if we receive a valid subpoena or similar legal demand, we will comply with applicable law while taking steps to maintain user anonymity.

We may route data through servers located in different jurisdictions, including the United States and other regions where FandeyTech operates. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of information to these locations as permitted under relevant data protection regulations.
